For the fourth of July weekend, Big A and I packed our bags and headed to Springfield, Missouri to spend the holiday with my family. It was quite a long road trip (8+ hours) so we actually stopped on our way in my hometown to get some rest before heading to Missouri Friday morning. It was a nice break and we got a slow and peaceful start to our vacation – what every good vacation needs!  

I can sum of the Fourth of July in just a few words:

Apple Pie
Fried Chicken
Grilling
Family
Parade
Fireworks
America

What's better than that? Absolutely nothing. God Bless America!
